POLICY IN THE FIELD OF INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Policy of Integra Construction KZ LLP (further – InCon KZ) in the field of quality management systems, health, safety and environment (hereinafter - IMS) is to constantly improve the quality of services provided, and is aimed at creating a safe working environment in order to prevent injuries, incidents and reducing environmental impact.

Objectives of the InCon KZ policy in the field of IMS are:

  • no harm to people, property and environment;
  • protection of health, safety of personnel and environment;
  • ensuring safety of the operation process and trouble-free operation of equipment;
  • high-quality satisfaction of requirements and expectations of customers.

Achievement of the set goals is ensured by:

  • participation of all personnel in ensuring the effectiveness of IMS processes based on personal responsibility of each employee for the quality of work performed and services provided;
  • compliance of InCon KZ's activities and the quality of work performed and services rendered to legislative and other applicable requirements;
  • ensuring customer satisfaction with the quality of work performed and services rendered that best meet their requirements;
  • monitoring and managing the process of continuous improvement of quality of operation activities by setting key indicators;
  • leading role of managers at all levels in the process of improving the safety management system at operation;
  • a high level of personnel competence and the availability of a sufficient number of trained, qualified personnel for the safe implementation of opeartion processes through continuous improvement of the personnel training system;
  • formation of a stable conscientious attitude of the InCon KZ staff and contractors to the issues of quality, labor protection and the environment;
  • development of the skills to identify sources of danger, knowledge of possible negative consequences and necessary safety measures, their conscious and consistent observance among all personnel;
  • continuous improvement of safety level at work, taking into account the experience of leading companies and implementation of best practices;
  • constant control by managers over the actions of personnel, encouragement of correct work practices and immediate response to possible violations and dangerous actions / conditions;
  • use of advanced technologies and equipment, implementation of operational and environmental control, internal inspections and maintenance of a high level of equipping facilities with emergency forces and means;
  • conducting a systematic analysis and minimization of risks associated with the impact of results of InCon KZ's activities on the health of InCon KZ personnel, personnel of contractors, visitors, population and environment, the quality of work performed and services provided, as well as the formation of an integrated approach to the management of production processes, design, construction and logistics;
  • minimizing the impact on environment by searching and introducing the best, from an environmental and economic point of view, technologies, optimizing operation processes, identifying and preventing potential emergencies;
  • striving to work without causing damage to the environment and rational use of natural and energy resources;
  • ensuring information openness to personnel, customers, contractors, participants, partners, government agencies and the public.

The management of InCon KZ undertakes to implement this Policy and to provide resources, create a professional, innovative atmosphere for continuous improvement of IMS of InCon KZ.

 

POLICY IN THE FIELD OF HEALTH AND SAFETY

The policy in the field of health and safety (hereinafter - OHS) applies to all activities of Integra Construction KZ LLP (hereinafter - the Partnership) in the Republic of Kazakhstan and in other states. It complies with other Partnership Policies and is an integral part of our management system.

The OHS policy of the Partnership defines the general principles of ensuring the health, safety and labor protection of all employees by preventing work-related injuries, deterioration of health, diseases and incidents, and demonstrates the Partnership's commitment to successful management in the field of safety and health.

In its activities, the Partnership is guided by the principles of ensuring safe working conditions, health protection and respect for the population of the regions where the Partnership operates.

Mission: Continuous work on the identification and minimization of risks to the life and health of the Partnership's employees, employees of contractors and everyone located on the territory of the Partnership's facilities.

Vision: The partnership is constantly working to improve the culture of occupational safety, the formation of a conscious attitude of employees to safety issues, the identification of sources of danger and the correction of hazardous actions and conditions, assigning a leading role in this process to managers of all levels, studying and applying the best practices in the field of occupational health and safety.

Goal: Eliminate accidents and achieve leading positions in key indicators in the field of occupational safety and health, continuous improvement of safety standards, creation of a basis for setting and analyzing OHS goals, bringing to the attention of all persons who work under control of the organization, communicate their personal OHS responsibilities.

This OHS policy is implemented by:

- leading roles of managers at all levels in the process of improving the safety management system at work;

- formation of a stable conscious attitude of the Partnership's employees and contractors to health and safety issues;

- developing among all employees the skills to identify sources of danger, knowledge of possible negative consequences and necessary safety measures, their conscious and consistent observance;

- continuous improvement of the safety level at work, taking into account the experience of leading companies and the implementation of best practices;

- constant control by managers over the actions of employees, encouraging correct work practices and immediate response to possible violations, and dangerous actions / conditions;

- learning from negative events, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures to prevent recurrence.

Principles:

- integration of safety issues at the operation of the Partnership into all aspects of operation activities and into the processes of making management decisions;

- compliance with the requirements of state regulatory documents, as the minimum mandatory conditions for safe work, study and application of the best industry and world practices, as part of the process of continuous improvement;

- involvement of all employees in the process of increasing the level of safety at work, the process of identifying sources of danger and taking measures that reduce the risk to human health and life;

- openness and availability of indicators in the field of occupational safety and health;

- continuous improvement of the health and safety management system.

Tasks:

- to reduce the level of risk to life and health of employees in the course of their labor activity;

- to constantly improve and control the level of knowledge and skills of employees in issues of occupational safety and health;

- to follow the principles of continuous improvement and increasing the level of protection of employees;

- to introduce new methods of improvement of labor safety management systems and reduce the level of accidents and injuries;

- to increase the importance of health and safety issues in the work of managers and specialists at operation.

We strive to take a leading position in the construction and repair of railways and highways, and assume the following obligations that apply to all employees, contractors of the Partnership:

  • we undertake to comply with the requirements of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other states, international standards and rules in the field of occupational safety and health and comply, where possible, with more stringent requirements established by the Partnership independently;
  • we strive to constantly improve the efficiency of the Occupational Safety Management System. We are committed to ensuring the safety and health of our employees by preventing accidents and occupational diseases, as well as seeking ways to minimize the impact of our facilities on the environment and human health through the use of advanced technologies and equipment, implementation of operational control, internal audits and maintaining a high level equipping our facilities with anti-emergency forces and means;
  • we declare that risks associated with the impact of the Partnership's facilities on the health of our employees, contractors' personnel, visitors, the public are systematically analyzed, constantly reduced and form the basis for an integrated approach to the management of operation processes, design, construction and logistics. We maintain close relationships with our suppliers and contractors so that they share our approach and act in accordance with the standards and norms adopted by the Partnership;
  • we declare that the results of our work in the field of occupational health and safety are open and transparent to all interested parties.
  • We undertake to consult with the employees of the Partnership and their representatives in the OHS activities and to involve them in active participation in all elements of the OSH management system.

The partnership is well aware that the most valuable thing is the life and health of employees. In this regard, managers of the Partnership support and develop the most promising areas that make a concrete contribution to the development of safe production activities.

The management of the Partnership undertakes to provide measures for implementation of this Policy.


POLICY IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

The environmental protection policy (hereinafter referred to as OOS) in Integra Construction KZ LLP (hereinafter referred to as InCon KZ) is guided by the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001 “Environmental management systems. Requirements and Application Guidance”.

The main provisions and goals of InCon KZ provide for mandatory observance at all levels of management of the legislative acts on environmental protection in force in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as its own guidance documents on issues the solution of which is not regulated by legislative or regulatory acts.

Environmental policy applies to all activities of InCon KZ in the Republic of Kazakhstan and in other states. It complies with other Policies in force in the Partnership and is an integral part of the management system.

This Policy is open and accessible to all interested parties.

The main intention in the field of environmental protection: To comply with international standards in the field of environmental protection.

The environmental policy is in line with the objectives and environment of InCon KZ, creates the basis for setting environmental goals, and includes a commitment to protect the environment.

Goals of the InCon KZ environmental policy are:

  • the minimum possible negative impact on the environment;
  • preservation of the environment.

 

This environmental policy is implemented by:

- recognition of the constitutional human right to a healthy environment;

- commitment of the management of InCon KZ to the goals of increasing the level of environmental protection;

- carrying out its activities in accordance with the requirements of international standards, current environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and current internal documents;

- continuous improvement of the level of knowledge and professional qualifications of all employees of InCon KZ, fostering a sense of responsibility for compliance with environmental safety requirements;

- the formation of a stable, conscious attitude of the InCon KZ staff and contractors to the quality issues of environmental protection;


- reducing the impact on the environment by searching and implementing the best, from an environmental and economic point of view, technologies, optimizing operation processes, identifying and preventing potential emergencies;

- minimization of negative impacts on the environment from operational and other activities;

- identifying environmental aspects and ways to eliminate them or reduce the impact on the environment;

- systematic analysis of the environmental situation with the adoption of  necessary corrective and preventive measures;

- introduction of the best world practices, international standards, contributing to the improvement of environment;

- desire to work without causing damage to environment and rationally use natural and energy resources;

- continuous improvement of the condition and prevention of environmental pollution;

- ensuring the openness and availability of objective, scientifically grounded information on impact of the enterprise on environment and health of personnel and population in the areas where the enterprise is located;

- reducing the volume of accumulation of industrial and domestic waste and environmentally safe handling;

- improving the structure of environmental management in accordance with international standards, current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on environmental protection and regulations of state bodies of supervision and control.

Top management of InCon KZ is committed to:

- fulfill the above assumed obligations;

- constantly improve the environmental management system to improve the environmental protection of InCon KZ.
